Bug???

I don't know if this a bug or not, I haven't studied the source that well.
I have been playing a while now and am level 24 with approx 3400000 ep.
And I have recently lost my key-bindings (control and directions) but if I
entered with a new character they worked ok, so there had to be a fault in
the save-file or in the restoration of it. 
I found two instances of lev_array in it, one said 24 and the other said 10. 
So I took a look at the source and saw that there was only one reference to 
it. Should there really be two references to "lev_array"? Because the game
worked fine when I removed "lev_array 24".
