sorry, my message was cut off.  it should have read:

	I've noticed that spells can be cast through doormatts that
are [mainly] used inside of shops (try casting spells with spell
effects [like fire from burning hands] and spell missiles [like a
fireball] at a doormatt).

	Just wondering if this was a widely known "feature".
