Problem porting to Linux

I have tried porting crossfire 88 to Linux a free Unix for the PC.  However, 
there seems to be a problem with doors.  I.e. in several places, if I go in 
a door, and then exit via the same door I end up in a different place.  
However, if I do the same thing on my Sun at work, I end up in the correct
place.  Does anyone else have the same type of problem?  This is repeatable 
so it's not a random thing.
