You wrote the code, so I take your word for it. But did you have to
use the Xpm library to do the parsing for you, or did you find it
possible to do it correctly by hand ? Would you be willing to write an
XPM parser skeleton which does not use any extra libraries or X or UN*X
specific system facilities for use in all the clients ?
I'd like to point out there I believe here already exist utilities to
convert xpm to other formats. They do not use X calls, methinks.
PS: "source tree is too large"? Come on Carl, you're grasping at straws.
We're talking about clients here. clients are binary distribution, for
macs and pee-cees. It only takes one major site to compile it.
