Are done. I'll send patches in to mark for them in a few
days, along with archetypes and pixmaps.
This is the documentation for them:
To use a word activated teleporter:
start with any teleporter archetype (type 41 in the archetypes file)
using the map editor, set its speed to 0 (otherwise it will teleport
people who step on it whether it's activated or not)
Also using the map editor, set the connected value to something
(this means you can trigger the teleporter with anything that will
use connected--altar, button, magic ear, whatever)
Put a magic ear in the center of the teleporter. When the keyword
is spoken, Bang, you're teleported.
This has *lots* of cool map applications. For example, summoning
demons (the magic ear is far from the teleporter), gateways, etc.
I've drawn a pentagram which is such a teleporter: the default
speed is zero.
So start thinking of some cool map ideas!
Now a question:
1) Is there any way to create a square that no monster will step
on, but which players can move on freely? Pentagrams would be
much cooler if i could make them trap demons.
In the future, I'm going to make word-activated creators of items. You
say something, and it turns into other_arch. Actually, I'll use the
"connected" variable for this as well (you pull a lever and it creates
food, or whatever.)
