What do people think about using gzip rather than compress for compressing
the files on the ftp site ? I have found gzip -9 gets _much_ better compression
(eg crossfire-0.90.1.arch.tar.Z = 657787 bytes
crossfire-0.90.1.arch.tar.gz = 397620 bytes)
