Some thoughs about pixmaps:

- should the working xpm-library be includes into release ?
  	- this is against modularity of programming but helps
	  compiling and installing to not-so-net-users
	- this increases the release size

- should there migrate to use only pixmaps ?
	+ this makes more constent the use of images
	- more space/less space
		+ the are no duplicate font/bw-pix/pix
		- pixmaps use more space themselves
	- the converting jop; most images should enchant
	  by hand to look good
	- the font-feature are not available any more
	  (does anyone need it ?)
