Correct - crossclient is nothing more than a simple front end program
that sends the commands to start up crossfire on your screen - in fact,
it probably sends the same commands.
Using the font may not quicken things up much. IF the link is slow
or overburdened (ie, 56 Kb link), nothing short of a faster network
connection will solve the problem.
