dumb questions

Hello all,
I have a couple of dumb questions...
1. How do you put stuff in the bags or sacks????
2. if you have a increase Dexterity scroll, how do you prepare your weapon?
Also, it seems to take a long time to advance levels, I guess that is just
part of the game....
