Hm... at least with rings, "of Woe" is cursed, "of Doom" is damned.

Not "most" damned items --- all damned items :-)
Of the cursed ones: there is only one item in the game that is cursed and
good. The classic joke about this item: why uncurse it --- you don't want
to remove it anyway...
It could be said that right now, even cursed items

That's right --- unless there is a lot of lag causing one to
accidentally apply a cursed item.
