I just started getting a similar error.  Anytime I log in as a particular
character, the client crashes.  Looking at the code, it thinks the server
is trying to send a packet larger than the 10K limit.  I upped the limit,
but that didn't fix it.  I don't see where the problem is, but I would
be willing to make the character file available to anyone who wants to
debug it.
