CF: Too harsh poison?

I just sat down to try out 0.94.0. It didn't last very long. I had 33
hp, was level 3, and was getting low on food. So I ate a nice looking
chop stick:

Eck!...that was poisonous!
Tenghil died.
Do you want to play again (a/q)?

Now _really_! You can't expect a level 3 to identify everything. In
the old days, even if you did get poisoned, you still had some time to
find a remedy (eat other food to heal as a last resort). Sudden death
simply sucks.

(And no, I won't turn on NO_PERMADEATH.)
