Right now, it seems that the biggest problem is that the wizards gain most
of the benefits of the fighters, and are still able to cast a lot of spells,
not vice-versa.

The main reason it's not implemented now is that I'm somewhat
opposed to the whole notion. If there is to be a huge difference
between the different classes, why not create a logical reason
for it? That's why you regenerate spell-points much slower when
wearing armour, especially metal armour.
Note that I don't mind adding more restrictions to the different
classes, but it must sound somewhat logical, and be general.
Personally I believe you should be able to cast any spell wearing
the same plate-mail in which fighters are able to do wonderous
tricks of swordplay.
Hmm, I suddenly remembered something I've meant to add to the game
for quite a while: spellcasting time. Will be there in .5 8)
