You may want to have a look at http://www.bitkeeper.com where you'll find
a distributed source management systems designed by Larry McAvoy for the
Linux source tree (and other things of course).  He's put together a
system which will hopefully sort out a lot of the problems the bazaar
method of development presents for source management that CVS/SCCS/RCS
don't hendle.  The license is free for non-commercial software.
