This is just a random rant .... but I'm finding that
the gcfclient is acting strangely now.

(1) It seems to put up "?" for images it hasn't loaded yet,
but I only recently noticed this.
(2) This is the critical one -- the client seems
to lose bindings for things like ' and Shift_L.
It's difficult to play when you lost ' and Shift_L, 
you know?
