I managed to use gunzip the files needed to run CF (the maps, client,
and game file), but these unzipped into a file of the same name,
without the .gz at the end. I don't know what I am supposed to do
with these files now. Am I using gunzip wrong? Or should I be using
tar? I tried tar a few times but it doesn't seem to do anything. I
have searched all over the net and cant find anything on how to
compile the game. Can someone help me out with this basic unzipping
so it unzips all the files in the proper folders.
And once unzipped, do I run a makefile, or the install file I saw in
the /util section?
I just installed RHL 5.2 today so I am not familiar with it, so don't
laugh too hard :)
Thanks,
Sean
ps. does anyone know an easy way to set up your dial-up connection
in linux? I read minicom is good but when I launch it it does nothing.
